Equipment Policy
The association sees player safety as of paramount importance. Thus we have listed what equipment is provided by LMSA, what is mandatory (but not provided by LMSA) and what is recommended.
Equipment provided by LMSA will include: bats, balls, catcher equipment, and a pitching mask.
Equipment mandatory and NOT provided by LMSA includes: Batting helmets with a face mask, glove and appropriate footwear such as runners or cleats. No crocs, sandals, open toed shoes or slip on's.
Equipment recommended but not required includes: Cleats, personal athletic support, mouth guards, and additional face masks for infield positions.
